Champagne Lormandier-Bernier Brut
Tradition Premier Cru
The natural alcoholic fermentation (natural yeast) and the malolactic fermentation begin spontaneously in their temperature-controlled, stainless-steel vats. The wines are left on their lees during the winter. The reserve wines are stored in casks and in wooden vats. The blending and the bottling are carried out in May, and the bottles are then taken down into our cellars and horizontally stacked. The second fermentation and the maturation 'on laths' quietly take place in the coolness of our cellars. All the bottles are disgorged manually 3 to 6 months before being marketed. The dosage is 5 grams per liter (this brut is also an extra-brut!).

Its taste is fresh, intense, with interesting notes of orange and cognac and rich, yet clean finishing sweetness. Canton can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or in a number of fine cocktails.

Australia
3 Rings Barossa Valley Shiraz 2006
2005 was an excellent vintage in the Barossa Valley and the quality shows here in this wine's balance and complex flavors. A small percentage of Cabernet was used in the blend this year. Wood treatment was a combination of new and used American Oak for one year. The sleight of hand that mesmerizes the eye is not unlike the skill that tantalizes the palate. South Australia's Chris Ringland (Winemaker), David Hickinbotham (grape grower) and Californian Dan Philips (importer) have created this fine wine; a hard act to follow."
| Producer: | Antech |
| Varietal: | 90% Mauzac, 5% Chardonnay, 5% Chenin Blanc |
| Country: | France |
| Region: | Limoux |
Tasting Notes: "There are 14,000 cases of the 2006 Shiraz, a wine sourced from three Barossa vineyards. The wine was aged in seasoned American oak. Opaque purple colored, it offers up a jammy perfume of cedar, spice box, violets, blueberry, and blackberry. This leads to a medium to full-bodied wine made in a surprisingly elegant style. Supple-textured, full-flavored, with well-integrated tannin, this hedonistic effort will evolve for 3-5 years but can be enjoyed now and over the next 10 years. 91 Points." Wine Advocate

Chile
Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Following a winter and spring with moderate rainfall, the summer of 2007 was particularly hot leading to an early harvest for the whites with a nice balance of ripeness Harvesting begins once the ripeness, probable alcohol and total acidity are at their optimum levels.. The grapes were entirely picked by hand in very good conditions between 28th of February and 3Oth of March. The grapes almost entirely from the Casablanca with a small amount sourced in Leyda, two cool valleys which are renowned for their quality in white grape production. These vineyards were supervised through pruning, development and especially during the harvest by the Los Vascos technical team. The grapes are table selected and then chilled before pressing and fining. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
| Producer: | Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) |
| Varietal: | Sauvignon Blanc |
| Country: | Chile |
| Region: | Casablanca |
Tasting Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc is clear and it has a bright color with slight greenish reflections. The nose is very expressive showing lemon, grapefruit and exotic fruit aromas combined with Sauvignon’s typical boxwood. It is lively, very fruity and juicy featuring very good concentration. The dynamic lemony finish is more mineral than in preceding vintages, which contributes great finesse. It should be drunk now while still young and fruity, though it may age well for another two years.
