From our friends Cacao Prieto Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. They select individual 10yr old Kentucky bourbon barrels. These are then sent to the Prieto Distillery in barrel. Once in Brooklyn, they use pure, limestone-rich water from New York's Widow Jane Mine to cut the whiskey to proof. Notes of baked apple, poached pear, cinnamon and lightly charred orange zest. Carmelized vanilla bean and spicy tannins linger. Smooth and seductive.
